Community Relations Coordinator

Ground Zero, an outreach ministry to teenagers inMyrtle Beach,SC, seeks a full-time Community Relations Coordinator for the new Ground Zero venue. The successful candidate will be a strong Christian with a passion for ministry to teenagers. This detailed-oriented self-starter will be able to develop and carry out a strategy to achieve goals and possess a high standard of excellence. Responsibilities are to coordinate sponsorships for Ground Zero events and build strong community relationships for the ministry.

About the Ground Zero venue: In June 2011, the city of Myrtle Beach leased the former Rivoli Theatre (just off the beach boardwalk) to Ground Zero for $1 a year to convert to a faith-based teen club, allowing Ground Zero to further extend its ministry to both Grand Strand teenagers and the tens of thousands of youth that visit Myrtle Beach each year. The venue, scheduled to open in fall 2013, includes an exciting gathering space for teenagers, a large auditorium, café, living room-style meeting areas, gaming, coffee bar, and a full schedule of weekend outreach events with nationally-known artists.
