Job Description

New Hope Community Church in Bryan, OH is looking for its next Director of Worship Ministries. Our previous Worship Leader of eight years has been called to help plant a new church in Tennessee, and we’re excited for him and his family. But that means we’re looking for a new person that can help lead our worship ministry. New Hope’s mission is to make disciples who live on mission with the gospel. Our style is a blend of Tomlin, Crowder, Jesus Culture, Hillsong United… we love to kick it… but we also love music that is reflective and responsive. We value our worship time together highly. Bryan is in the Northwest corner of Ohio… about an hour between Toledo and Fort Wayne. It’s a great place to raise a family. We enjoy the smaller town atmosphere, but we’re never too far from the amenities of a bigger city. (In fact, we’re just a few hours from Chicago, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and other major metro areas). We’re looking for someone who can lead a team well; someone that can find and develop new talent; and someone that can not only lead vocally and instrumentally, but also has a real heart and passion for worship.
